Minimum qualification required for appointment:

1. Post: Inspector of Armed Police

Minimum Qualification Required:

(a) Must have completed 21 years not exceeding 25 years of age as on the date of publication of advertisement (from date of birth 2055/09/20 to date 2059/09/20).

(b) Graduated from an accrediated university or its equivalent.

(c) Possess the height not less than five feet two inches and weight not less than 50 kg for male. And for women, must have height at least five feet and weight at least 42 kg.

(d) Having Nepali citizenship certificate.

(e) For men, the chest is at least 31 inches when not inflated and 33 inches when inflated (not applicable for women).

(f) Eyes not weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.

(g) Must have a health certificate from an approved physician appointed by the Head Office (to be conducted at the time of examination).

(h) Two current gazetted officers of the Government of Nepal, who have received a recommendation of good character from the educational institution where they have studied and apart from their relatives.

(i) Has not been convicted by a court of law on a criminal charge of moral turpitude.

(j) Not being a member of a political party at the time of application.

(k) Not being a member of a terrorist organization.

(l) Not dismissed from employment so as to disqualify him for future Government service.

(m) Impunity for violations of human rights and humanitarian law.

(n) Not having been punished for espionage against Nepal.

2. For ASI Post

Minimum Qualification Required:

(a) Must have completed 18 years not exceeding 23 years of age as on the date of publication of advertisement (from date of birth 2055/09/20 to date 2059/09/20).

(b) Applicants should possess a certificate level, (+2) or equivalent degree from an accrediated university.

(c) Possessing qualifications other than (a) and (b) of the post of Inspector of Armed Police.

3. Post: APF Parichar (Various Trades)

Minimum Qualification Required:

(a) Must have completed 18 years not exceeding 25 years of age as on the date of publication of advertisement (from date of birth 2055/09/20 to date 2059/09/20).

(b) Able to read general articles.

(c) Possess the height not less than five feet two inches and weight not less than 50 kg for male. And for women, must have height at least five feet and weight at least 42 kg.

(d) For men, the chest is at least 30 inches when not inflated and 32 inches when inflated (not applicable for women).

(e) Possessing other qualifications than (a), (b), (c) and (e) of Armed Police Inspector post.

• Submission of Receipt: Candidates need to submit the original receipt and a copy of their application form.

2. Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Post

• Application Fee: Applicants have to pay NPR 500 (Rupees Five Hundred) and an additional fee of an extra 20% (NPR 100) per group towards an inclusive group.

1. Payment Details: The fee should be deposited in the Revenue Bank Account assigned by the enrollment centers.

• Submission of Receipt: Candidates need to submit the original receipt and a copy of their application form.

3. Parichar (Various Trades) Post

• Application Fee: Applicants have to pay NPR 200 (Rupees Five Hundred) and an additional fee of an extra 20% (NPR 100) per group towards an inclusive group.

• Payment Details: The fee should be deposited in the APF’s Revenue Account No. 100010020010000 at Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd., Central Office. Office Code: 314053507, Revenue Title No.: 14224.

• Submission of Receipt: Candidates need to submit the original receipt and a copy of their application form.
