Applicants from national and international all over the world who want to pursue a Bachelor, Master, PhD are encouraged to apply.
The scholarship program is the Japanese Government Scholarship. The scholarship program is fully funded and covers all the expenses including tuition fees, living expenses, economy-class air tickets and others. The Japan Government Scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Japan on the recommendation of Asia Pacific University.
The Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) was established in 1993. APU is the first Malaysian university to accomplish an overall rating of Five Star Plus in the latest QS Stars Rating Awards presented at the QS Apple Conference on 1 November 2021. Benefits of APU MEXT UR Scholarship 2024
- The scholarship program will cover the full admission fee.
- Applicants will get 100% of the tuition fee covered by the APU Tuition Reduction Scholarship.
- Applicants will be given living expenses of 144,000 JPY per month (amount subject to change).
- Applicants will receive an economy-class air ticket from their home country to APU and a return ticket at the end of the program.

Eligibility Criteria for the APU MEXT UR Scholarship 2024
- Applicants from all over the world are eligible to apply for the APU MEXT UR Scholarship.
- Applicants must be from the countries mentioned above.
- Applicants must be born on or after April 2, 1989.
- Applicants must possess at least a 2.30 GPA on a 3.00 scale at their most recent university.
