Association for Rural Social Welfare Nepal (ARSOW Nepal), the leading NGO based in the Kavre district works in various sectors i.e. WASH, Livelihoods, Social Mobilization, Recovery and Reconstruction and Disaster Risk Reduction/Management.
Currently, ARSOW Nepal is seeking qualified, result oriented and self-motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions under its Strengthening Actions for Reconstruction and Recovery Project in Jajarkot, Nepal (SABAL Project) in partnership with by Fondation de France (FDF) on Reconstruction and WASH in Bheri Municipality of Jajarkot district. ARSOW Nepal Vacancy Announcement
1. Program Coordinator: 1 (Based in Field Office, Bheri Municipality, Jajarkot)
Qualifications/experience required
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any discipline in with a minimum 5 years of professional experience in earthquake-resistant design and construction of buildings. Civil Engineering in the same field is preferred,
- Work experience in community-led building projects will be an advantage.
- Substantial knowledge on Building reconstruction, DRR, WASH and other development sectors.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software is a must.
- Understanding of earthquake-resistant design and construction of stone masonry, confined masonry, reinforced masonry, and timber buildings
- Good interpersonal communication, facilitation, presentation & coordination skills with excellent English language,
- Willingness to work remote areas.
- Work experience in community led building projects will be an advantage,
- Familiar with different areas of construction as well as workplace safety and building codes an added advantage,
- Familiar with government policies/guidelines related to house construction
- Prior experience and understanding of humanitarian response and recovery.
- Able to ride two wheeler.
2. Technical Supervisor: 2 (Based in Field Office, Bheri Municipality, Jajarkot)
Qualifications/experience required:
- Diploma in Civil engineering with 5 Years’ experience/Bachelor in Civil Engineering with minimum 2 years’ experience
- Gender sensitive
- Ability to work in the team and have the team work spirit
- Substantial knowledge on Building reconstruction, DRR, WASH and other development sector.
- Experience on socio and technical skill in working with community groups in housing and community development
- Ability to work under pressure and ready to work long hours if required
- Willing to work in remote area and in difficult situation
- Keen interest and commitment to support for community led development processes.
- Able to ride two wheeler.

Qualifications/experience required:
- 10+2 in Management/Finance with minimum 4 years professional experience. Bachelor degree in same field is preferred,
- Good knowledge on financial/account system of NGOs,
- Substantial knowledge on taxation of Nepal,
- Comprehensive knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in core financial management activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Sound knowledge and experience of fund management,
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to details.
- Able to operate accounting software-tally/FINMEN and have strong proven experience in using Excel Spreadsheets.

4. Social Mobilizer: 1 (Based in Field Office, Bheri Municipality, Jajarkot)
Qualifications/experience required:
- 10+2 in social sciences or other relevant subject,
- Basic knowledge on community groups,
- Motivated in social service, experience in development work and social mobilization process
- Good knowledge on local level government agency’s planning, implementation process.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Social mobilization,
- Good communication and coordinate skills,
- Willingness to work in remote area & with communities,
- Able to ride two-wheeler.

5. Office Assistant: 1 (Based in Field Office, Bheri Municipality, Jajarkot)
Qualifications/experience required:
- Minimum School level certificate or equivalent.
- Having good knowledge of documentation, procurement and administration-related works.
- At least 1 years of experience on related field.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Good negotiation, representation skill and ability to work comfortably in a team.
