Eligibility Criteria for the Harvard Radcliffe Institute Fellowship 2024-25
- Candidates from all around the world are eligible for the Fellowship program.
- Candidates must complete a high score.
- Candidates must have independent writing and research skills.
- Candidates applying as professionals must hold senior leadership positions in a non-profit organization, government or private sector.
- Candidates should possess at least 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Candidates who take part in previous Harvard fellows are not eligible to apply for this fellowship.
For Applicants of Humanities, and Social Sciences
- Must have received their doctorate in the area of their proposed project.
- Your degree must be accomplished 2 years prior to your appointment here.
- Must have published a monograph or at least two articles in refereed journals.
For Applicants of Science, Engineering, and Mathematics
- Must have received their doctorate in the area of their proposed project.
- Your degree must be accomplished 2 years prior to your appointment here.
- Must have published at least five articles in referred journals.
The following eligibility requirements should be met against each category:
For Applicants of Creative Arts
- Must have notable work achievements.
- At least five years of working experience as a professional artist.
- Must have participated in curated group shows.
- Must have participated in a professional solo demonstration.
Film and Video
- Must have a strong work acquirement, demonstrated in the form of video festivals, films,s or broadcasts on television.
Visual Arts
- Must have strong work acquirement.
- At least five years of working experience as a professional artist.
- Must have participated in curated group shows.
- Must have participated in professional solo exhibitions.
Fiction & Non-Fiction
Must have one of the following acquirement:
- Must have published one or more books.
- Agreement to publish the manuscript.
- Publish at least three works, no longer than a newspaper article.
Journalism
- Must have at least five years of relevant professional experience.
Poetry
- You Should have published at least 20 poems or a book of poetry in the last five years.
- The manuscript should be in the process of completion.
Playwriting
- Independent work must be acquired as a game product or similar.
Music Composition
- A PhD or DMA is preferred, but not required.
- Must be a professional performer with a recent performance record.
