Executive Chef

Department: F&B Production Department

 Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
  •  Minimum Three years ‘work experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a larger operation with a total of 12-15 years’ in the culinary field in a hotel with relevant knowledge in International cuisine such as European/Italian /Indian /Mediterranean /Asian etc…
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
  •  Good Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance Systems are preferred.
  • Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills, with a flair for creativity.

Director of Sales

Department: Sales & Marketing Department

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferably in Hospitality Tourism or Business Management.
  • Minimum two years’ work experience as a Director of Sales or an Associate Director of Sales in a larger operation.
  • Develops, implements, maximizes, monitors and evaluates the hotel’s Sales Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue-generating departments.
  •  Ensures Sales activities are aligned with the Corporate Marketing Strategy and Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.
  • Strategically analyzes business performance to facilitate accurate and meaningful forecasting, involving the respective Heads of Department as appropriate.
  •  Constantly monitors and evaluates local, national and international market trends, and the competitor hotels’ sales initiatives, to make sure the hotel’s marketing and sales remain competitive and cutting edge.
  • Ensures all sales proposals, collateral, digital tools, and other sales communications are in-line with the hotel’s and HI’s brand standards, and up-to-date in terms of information.
