International candidates from several countries in the world are eligible to apply for the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2024. Applicants who want to pursue an undergraduate or master’s degree from Canada are encouraged to apply for the Scholarships.
The duration of the Internship is a 12-week paid internship in Canada. It is fully funded and covers all expenses from this internship program including round-trip airfares, enrollment fees granted, accommodation transportation, health insurance, housing allowance, food and events stipend and provides the certificate after completion. Internships will cover a range of academic disciplines, from science, engineering, and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences, within 12 weeks and you’ll gain international experience within 12 weeks. Eligibility Criteria for Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2024
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Applicant must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or combined undergraduate/master’s program in a suitable institution (observe the list of eligible institutions by country).
- Applicants must belong from Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States.
- Be available in Canada to complete an internship lasting 12 consecutive weeks between May 1 and October 31, 2024.
- Applicants must be fluent in Spoken and written in English and/or French.
- Applicants must have an original transcript in English or French of their home university.
- Applicants must have at least one reference letter from a professor or research supervisor.
- You must apply for at least three, and a maximum of seven, projects and make sure the selection is from at least three different Canadian provinces.
- Applicants must have a valid passport that is valid until at least January 2025.
