Position: Associate Coordinator

Level: Junior Officer

Job Description: The Nepal Bankers’ Association (NBA) seeks a highly motivated and qualified candidate to join our team. The Associate Coordinator will be primarily responsible for conducting and managing different NBA Committees/Sub-Committees and events of the Association.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for scheduling/managing meetings of NBA Committees and Sub-Committees;
  • Prepare Minutes/Reports of the Committees and take necessary actions or make follow-ups as decided in the meetings;
  • Strengthen coordination and maintain a good level of communication with NBA Provincial-level Committees;
  • Ensure the focal contact details of various Committees are updated;
  • Provide support and assistance to Committee Members as required;
  • Support to conduct programs/activities of the Association;
  • Build a strong network with member banks and external institutions;
  • Organize and manage different events & activities of the Association;
  • Create work plans for events and meetings, and prepare proposals as required;
  • Collaborate with different organizations to execute the program/events;
  • Closely work with team members on various engagements/projects;
  • Effective planning and execution to ensure successful completion of events;
  • Conduct any other additional duties handed from time to time by the ED.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or similar degree;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in minutes drafting and event hosting preferred;
  • Knowledge of the banking industry preferred;
  • Expert in all MS Office applications;
  • Exceptional communication skills;
  • Proficient time management skills and ability to work independently;
  • Must hold a 2-wheeler license.
