Information Security
- Corporate Position: Senior Officer to Assistant Manager
- Location: Head Office
- Education: Master’s degree in computer science or a related field from a recognized university.
- Certification: CEH/CISA/CISSP/CISM
- Age: Not exceeding 40 years as of January 03, 2024
- Experience: At least five and six years of experience for applying to Senior Officer and Assistant Manager level respectively.
The candidate will play a direct role in safeguarding the bank’s information assets by consistently assessing the security posture, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending positive changes to address them. Candidate should possess qualities that contribute to penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, while also guiding the team for enhancing the organization’s security posture through the use of Firewalls, SIEM, antivirus and IDS/IPS.
The candidate should be a dynamic security professional who thrives on taking ownership of challenges and implementing innovative security solutions to minimise the overall security expenditure of the bank.

LI-BIRD Vacancy for Technical Assistant (Level 3 or 4)-5
Major Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and guiding the security architecture, design, implementation, and operational direction according to the security roadmap
- Monitoring the information system analyzing attack vectors and developing solutions for emerging threats.
- Recommend appropriate solutions to fix the detected vulnerabilities to ensure the security standard of the bank.
- Ensuring the regular vulnerability assessment and penetration testing program of the bank.
- A comprehensive information security awareness program is to be developed and executed according to the latest security threats.
- Ensure the implementation of NRB guidelines and industry best practices which includes developing the information security and cyber resilience guidelines of the bank.
- Owning the implementation of multiple cybersecurity projects and identifying requirements needed to meet our security and risk management objectives
- Ensuring alignment between security architecture frameworks and standards and overall business strategy
- A good team player, who always believes in teamwork and focuses on shared results.
- A highly dependable “doer” who can work with little supervision while being resilient to change
- A good listener who can check your ego at the door, allowing you to receive and provide candid feedback and criticism
