Female students of African origin, living and studying in Africa who want to pursue an Undergraduate Degree are encouraged to apply.
The scholarship program is only for Female African Students. WAAW Foundation awarded a $500 one-time award during the scholarship. If you are free to focus on fulfilling your academic goals giving back to your community and volunteering to promote the involvement of women in STEM through a STEM outreach chapter at their university. Eligibility Criteria
- Female students of African origin, living and studying in Africa are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be 32 years old.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants must possess an Excellent Academic Record.
- Applicants must have proven leadership, volunteerism, and community service.
- Applicants must currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Applicants must be currently a first or second-year student or a third-year student for a 5-year course at the university.
- Applicants must be studying STEM-related courses at a university or college in Africa.
WAAW Foundation undergraduate scholarships 2023-2024 Requirements
- 2 Reference Letters are to be submitted by your referees.
- 1 signed and sealed copy of your current transcript from your University.
- 1 scanned copy of your school ID card
