The World Bank provides the Internship Program thrice a year. The Internship Program offers Fall Internships, Summer Internships and Spring Internships. Spring internships are open at this time for both domestic and international students. The duration of the Internship Program is three months.
The World Bank Legal Internship Program helps enhance their legal capabilities by bringing new ideas, innovative concepts, and the most recent research experiences to the World Bank’s day-to-day operations. The World Bank Legal Internship Program will take place at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Internship Perks
- The World Bank will provide allowances to all interns in accordance with WB policies.

Roles of the Internship
- Conduct research on the concerns, work and activities of the World Bank
- Working in task/project teams with supervising lawyer(s).
- Assist with the preparation and organization of conferences and meetings.
- Ad hoc actions directed by supervising lawyer(s).
World Bank Legal Internship Program 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants from Domestic or International from all over the world are encouraged to apply.
- You must hold citizenship in any IBRD member country.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an LLB, JD, LLM, SJD, PhD, or equivalent legal academic program when working with us.
